Hi all,
I just upgraded my receiver from TF7710 to the SRP 2100 and I am having a problem with my viewing card, I subscribe to Showtime Arabia on Nilesat which is Irdeto and I use Powercam.Pro with it. It all worked fine on the 7710 but now on the TMS its not working, I tried to use another Irdeto cam and its still doesn’t work any help please?

not easy to help because we have no expirience with nilesat.
normaly the cam module that have worked in the 7710 must also work in the srp 2100
ist it possible to switch in the ci menü of the cam module?
do you see the cam module name in the menu?
if not, maybe the srp 2100 has a problem...so you have to change it.

Thank you for replying, yes i also found it strange that the cam that worked fine on 7710 is not working on the 2100, the cam menu is fully operational i see the cam name and i can control the functions in it but the channels are still scrambled. I bought my receiver from the UK and i am using it in Kuwait so its not easy to exchange or return it so i am really stuck and not sure what to do.

i don´t think that the problem is the receiver, because it look like the cam module is working in the srp.
here we use the mascom module alphacrypt, that work fine with the srp.
but i dont know if you can use this module but it use irdeto: " Irdeto, CryptoWorks und Conax. Darüber hinaus ist es kompatibel zu BetaCrypt sowie dem V-Code-System.

Difficult to help, but some Ideas:
as you describe, the communication with the CA Module works fine; so please check if your account/smartcard has expired; if not may be the date and timesetting of SRP are incorrect. try to modify the settings in then menue item "setup/Time" and select Nilsat as the reference sattelite

I am sure that the card is working, I still have my TF-7710 and the cam and card are working smoothly with no problems. I have so far tested several cams with my TMS and it still doesn’t descramble my showtime-arabia channels I have a feeling that my device is faulty I also emailed Topfield Korea explaining the problem but as usual no reply from them. My only choice now is to return the TMS and see if the people that sold it to my can figure it out.

and the other cam you have tested still works in the 7710?
it could be a faulty from the tms but it must not....difficult to say something about this because i can´t test or check it here, sorry.
