TMSDisplay vs Happy's NiceDisplay

Hello,

I am a user in Australia who is choosing between these two TAPs. I have the following questions:

TMSDISPLAY:

Does this allow me to mask out suffixes (like SmartEPG provides) the way that NiceDisplay does?

Is there any way to stop the prefixes (e.g. L before the LCN) from appearing?



NICEDISPLAY:

Is there any way to create several different items that share the small display, the way that TMSDisplay does?

When I change the settings to display LCN, the TAP displays an LCN for live TV, but still a physical channel before each recording slot.

When I mask out suffixes, this works for files being played back, but not for files being recorded.

In Australia, the TV networks sometimes put full descriptions where there should be a subtitle. I like displaying the subtitle, but it is too much when there is a full description there, instead. Is there some way to cut off the display cycle after a maximum number or characters? There seems to be a setting for a maximum number of seconds, but it is not working.



BOTH:

When I have a menu opened, or when I switch to the COMPOSITE or COMPONENT inputs, the TAPs do not display this information the way the native system did. Can I adjust this?
