Sorry if I am in the wrong area here but I have had a fun time trying to register in and find my way around a German newsgroup when I don't understand German.
I am using a Topfield 3000CIP pro (with integrated positioner) with both C & Ku dishes being fed through a 22khz switch.
For some reason I find that if I set up a Ku satellite with all the
appropriate parameters and I then select that satellite, my C band dish
starts to rotate even though I have not entered any settings for dish
alignment.
If anyone can advise why this is happening it would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
David

AW: TF3000CIP programming query??
Do both dishes have a motor? Or only the C band (probably, since the Positioner is used)?
Because with the Topfield receiver, a satellite always has a position. And if you select a satellite, the motor will try to turn the dish at that position.
The only way to control that would be to disable the motor when the Ku satellite is used, e.g. by the 12V output. There is no internal setting "disable motor for this satellite".
