Hi,
My CRP-2401CI+ setup box is couple of years old now. There is installed May 30 2011 firmware on it. The hard disk contains many records from encrypted channels.
I updated latest firmware Feb 05 2013 and I executed RecPatcher tool. After that I was not able to watch old descrambled records with latest firmware . I restored old firmware to the box (May 30 2011). I was able to watch descrambled records with old firmware again. (Despite RecPatcher execution).
What firmware versions are supported with RecPatcher tool? (Is May 30 2011 firmware included?) Is there any way to update to the latest firmware without lost old descrambled records?

There exists a log file wrote by RecPatcher.
Only one file is patched. With other files there is text. (Aufnahme muss nicht gepatched warden). Also there is changed encoding in some file names.
Now this patched file does not work with old firmware version.
I dont understand what is different with this one file. Why it is patched and other files are ignored.
Has anyone else same kind of problems with RecPather? Do you have any suggestions what to do next?

this is something that must be checked from the author "gerti".
i know he is very busy this time...
the meaning of the text ist that this file hast not to be patched...in that case (if it is one from a scrambled service) gerti will need the inf file and has to check whats going wrong.

I have investigated the issue more.
I installed official March 09 2011 firmware and I made some recordings.
After that I installed Feb 05 2013 firmware. The RecPatcher tool worked fine with these recordings. These recordings played correctly with latest and also with May 30 2011 firmware.
It looks like there is something weird with recordings May 30 2011 beta firmware. According to RecPatcher these files is not needed to be patched but files does not work with newer firmwares.
There is one other weird thing with May 30 2011 firmware too. All decrypted files are marked as partly decrypted (Yellow/Blue icon). RebuildNav changes this icon as completely decrypted (blue icon). With other firmwares icon is set directly set as completely decrypted.
I think this issue is only with recordings using May 30 2011 beta firmware. Does anyone an idea what goes wrong? Can anyone help me with this issue?
